Successful May 2026 Volunteer Workday at the RGFP
May’s volunteer workday at the Farm Park included constructing a rain barrel system for the residential duplex, planting flowers in the garden beds outside of the education center, planting seeds in the new pollinator garden on the south end of the Farm Park, planting tomatoes, and prepping the strawberry beds in the orchard. We extend our deepest gratitude to all of the wonderful volunteers who made it out to the workday. We also thank the Alamosa chapter of the Women’s Citizenship Club for providing breakfast for the morning. If you’d like to join us at our next volunteer workday, they typically happen on the last Saturday of each month from 8 AM to approximately 11 AM. Breakfast and coffee are provided, and a variety of tasks are offered to folks of all ages and abilities. Check out some photos of the most recent event below!
