June 2026 Volunteer Workday

Saturday, June 27 will be the next volunteer workday at the Rio Grande Farm Park from 8 AM to 11 AM. The plan for the day is to install approximately 280 wood fence pickets around the on-site residential duplex (requiring teams of 3-4 people) and to pull bindweed and dead tree debris from the orchard. Each project will involve various tasks that volunteers of all skill and ability levels can participate in. 

As always, breakfast and coffee will be provided. This month, we are asking folks to bring work gloves, drills, and torque screw bits if they have them. Additionally, please be mindful of the summer heat and bring proper sun protection and water. We hope to see you there!
